This means how their outfits will look while performing concerts, to public relations. Not only will you have to have them perform shows, you will also have to handle their public image. To say that this game is fairly accurate in how an actually talent agency would run an idol group is an understatement. This means hiring staff for your office, casting girls for your idol group, train their skills, and grow their fanbase. This will see you go through a tutorial showing you all the things you will have to do in order to run your empire. This means that you are now the boss of a model talent agency. Interestingly, everyone who worked for him left the company shortly before you joined and now you are the only one who is currently employed by him. The beginning of the game sees you walking into a studio ran by a benefactory named Fujimoto. Examples of these include NiziU, Momoiro Clover Z, Babymetal, and AKB48. While there are Idol boy groups such as Exile or BTS, they are mostly known for being young girls ranging anywhere from 12-25. Idol groups are a type of entertainer marketed for image, attractiveness, and personality in Japanese pop culture with many of these idols having backgrounds in acting, dancing, or modeling. For those who don’t, let me give you a simple rundown. If you clicked on this it’s likely you already know what an Idol group is. This might explain why when I found out there was an upcoming game called Idol Manager where you could essentially manage an idol group that you could create from scratch, I found it to be intriguing. Maybe this is because there is absolutely no way that a music company would ever devote the amount of time and effort into them, or perhaps some of them come across as very likeable people on the surface. Each substory can play out in multiple different ways based on your decisions, often causing serious consequences for your playthrough.Something that I’m a little ashamed to say is that I find kind of fascinating are Idol groups. Discover substories - chains of events and visual novel segments, many of which are triggered by your play style.Hire and train staffers to help deal with logistics and keep your agency running smoothly. Start with simple offices and dance rooms to produce content and train your idols, and end with your own cafe and theater to create a steady stream of revenue. Produce singles, hold concerts, organize huge TV events and overseas tours to capitalize on your group's popularity and bring in revenue.Grow your fanbase by varying your tactics and appealing to a wide variety of demographics.Manage relationships between the different idols in your group, as you deal with cliques, internal feuds, and bullying.Decide how to deal with crises including gossip, vandalism, stalkers, or threats directed at your agency and the pop idols you manage.There's a lot of people who want to tear you down and are willing to play dirty, but try not to let it get to you. The world is full of gossip magazines, super fans, and rival groups, all thirsty for a scoop on the latest scandal. It's not just the idols you have to worry about. Their crowning personal achievements can be your greatest commercial successes, but their emotional meltdowns and PR nightmares can spell financial disaster for your company. The personal lives of these young celebrities are a part of your business, and the life of a pop star isn't always a happy one. As you cultivate and train the newest generation of young pop stars, you'll have to decide who to hire and who to fire, who gets promoted when things go well and who gets reprimanded when things get sour.
